BIOGRAPHY

As a child, I developed a passion for fine art and later the discipline of photography.  This progression naturally led me to visual storytelling, film, and to today.  Over the past 10 years I have realized many cinematic dreams while living my life through the lens. I’ve Directed and Photographed a variety of work in Documentary, Commercial, Narrative, Music Video, and Experimental genres for MTV, A&E, Sundance, Gray Advertising, Modernista and so on.

While traveling to far corners of the earth I've been graced with many exotic impresions. I've slept in a tent with orphans, celebrated Hip Hop culture in Tokyo, dined with royalty, and stood over scores murdered bodies.  All these experiences inform me about a truth greater than fiction. 

As a Director and Cinematographer I call upon these experiences, images, and memories from our fantastic world, to blend into my work.  My interest is not just telling stories, but creating visually stunning pieces that evoke visceral emotion.  I enjoy the technical challenges of the medium and embrace all technologies that help to blend fantasy into reality. 

I am proficient in field and studio productions, understand how to move a project from conception to completion, and can work on set with 35mm Film, RED, HD Video, Motion Control, SFX, AVID, FCP, etc… I continue to seek new avenues of challenge and wholehearted collaborations in which to exercise my creative and aesthetic sensibilities.
